New Zealand vs India 2020: 3rd T20I, Hamilton – Match Prediction; Although the series between New Zealand and India was advertised as a battle of equals, the tourists have raced away to a 2-0 lead.

Meanwhile, Kiwis were clueless in Auckland. They will hope for a change in fortunes with the action shifting to Hamilton for the third T20I on Wednesday. Well, Team India is raring to go.

India made light work of New Zealand in the second T20I and are one win away of claiming the series after taking a 2-0 lead. The tourists were solid with the ball as they kept New Zealand’s scoring in check before KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer carried on where they left off in the first game with scores of 57* and 44 respectively.

The duo guided their side to the seven-wicket victory and following another impressive display, India could name the same side for the third game as they bid to wrap the series up.

On the other hand, the home side will ponder a few changes as they aim to stay alive in the series.

New Zealand team has a great record in T20I at Seddon Park:

For New Zealand, every game is a must-win from here on. But they can take heart from the fact that their record in T20Is at Seddon Park is fantastic. The Kiwis have played nine T20Is at this venue and have managed to win seven of them.

The last time New Zealand played a T20I against India at Seddon Park, they won the game by a huge margin of 80 runs.

The home team will look to make a few changes with Daryl Mitchell and Scott Kuggleijn expected to make the cut for this game.

Blair Tickner might have to make way for Kuggeleijn, while Daryl Mitchell might get a go-ahead of Ish Sodhi, as Seddon Park is not expected to offer too much for spinners.

For India, Virat Kohli might be tempted to bring in the young, lanky fast bowler Navdeep Saini to replace Shardul Thakur, given how well he bowled in the ODI series back home against Australia.

Besides, Kuldeep Yadav could be another surprise from the Indian camp.

With the momentum that India have found early on in the series, it seems pretty difficult for New Zealand to stop the Men in Blue from here on.

However, the Kane Williamson-led side will take heart from the brilliant record they set on this particular venue over the years. The team management will hope the experienced players to take the onus on their shoulders to come good against India.

The visitors will enter the game as favourites to win the game and clinch series. Nevertheless, another cracking game of fast-paced T20 cricket is in the store at Seddon Park with the series on the line for the home side.
