Tem India will be oozing with confidence going into the finals of the Nidahas Trophy with a thumping win over Bangladesh. The men in blues will face Bangladesh in the finals tomorrow at Colombo.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh defeated host Sri Lanka by two wickets in a thriller to qualify for the final.
India, without their star players, has played brilliant cricket throughout the series. However, it is Washington Sundar, who has grabbed the eyeballs of everybody. Bowling in the powerplays, Sundar is the most economical bowler and is also the highest wicket-taker for India. Vijay Shankar and Shardul Thakur also did well in their limited capacity.
The senior cricketers have also contributed significantly to the team’s win. Further, stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma came back to form in the last game which will be an added advantage going into the final.
