Concurrently, the premium fast-bowler for India, Mohammad Shami is in the news for all the wrong reasons. His wife Hasin Jahan has accused him of having extramarital affairs. It solely comes under the police jurisdiction.
In an embroiled controversy, the local police further swung into action to visit Shami’s house. As of now, the investigation process is going on. The legwork is done to come closer to the conclusion. The law authorities visited Shami’s residence in Amroha on Monday.
The right-arm 27-year-old Uttar Pradesh-born bowler Shami made it clear that his family will lend a hand in the police investigation.
“Me and my family will fully cooperate and help during the investigation,” Shami told newswire ANI.
It’s pertinent to mention that, police has left no stone unturned to investigate the serious matter. It has somewhat affected the gentleman’s game.
Simultaneously, Shami stated his wife Hasin has failed to come up with the solid proof. He added he is going to take the legal stand after trying to find the resolution of the matter.
“My wife’s unable to prove half of the allegations she has put on me. I tried to solve the issue for 7-8 days, but she openly said she doesn’t want to, so now I also don’t have any option but to take this up legally,” Shami said.
Simultaneously, Shami stated he would like to see how Hasin would react to not being able to prove her statements right.
“Now, I want to see to what extent can she go,” Shami added.
Earlier, Shami stood from the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) contract list.
However, the reports suggested Shami could be back in the list of centrally contracted players. It is only possible if Anti-Corruption Unit of BCCI would absolve the charges which is headed by Neeraj Kumar.

Earlier in March, Hasin, in particular, accused Shami of domestic violence and match-fixing followed by adultery by his wife, Jahan.
“My cricket has no link with this matter. This is just a tactic to spoil my career. I’ve requested BCCI to start their investigation at the earliest and if I am proved to be innocent then let me resume my practice so that my game is not affected,” Shami stated.
Moreover, the thorough investigation is going on, Shami had already taken to the micro-blogging website Twitter for terming the allegations baseless.
