Ravichandran Ashwin has been one of the bedrocks of the Indian bowling unit for a better part of the past decade. The ace Indian off-spinner has bowled a plethora of match-winning spells for Team India across all formats of the game ever since he made his debut back in 2010.
Ashwin recently featured on a show named ‘100 minutes 100 stars’, an initiative started by Fever Network, where he was asked to name his top-three moments of his career thus far.

In the ODI format, The Indian off-spinner went on to pick the 2013 Champions Trophy final against England where he bowled the final over to help India win the match by five runs while in the shortest format of the game, his most memorable moment remains that magical delivery that he bowled to South African opener Hashim Amla in the 2014 ICC T20 World Cup semi-final.
That ball at the time was hailed as ‘the bowl of the century’ by Australian legend Adam Gilchrist.

Ravichandran Ashwin picks the 2016 series against West Indies as the greatest moment of his Test career
As far as the longest format of the game is concerned, Ashwin picked his all-round performance during the 2016 tour of the West Indies where he picked up 17 wickets and racked up 235 runs with the help of two centuries and was adjudged the ‘Player of the series’ as his most memorable moment.
“For T20s, it was surely my ball against Hashim Amla. For ODIs, the win in the Champions Trophy final in 2013. For Tests, I will go with the man of the series award in the away series against West Indies,” Ashwin said.
Ashwin was also asked to pick his three favorite colleagues and he was quick to name Cheteshwar Pujara, Shikhar Dhawan, and former strength and conditioning coach Shankar Basu. He also added Virat Kohli into the mix.
“Cheteshwar Pujara for sure. I like Shikhar Dhawan too as he is a lot of fun. I used to like Shankar Basu (former Head Strength and Conditioning Coach) a lot. Also Virat as he can have interesting conversations all the time,” he answered.
Ashwin also revealed that he likes to take souvenirs from the matches he has played in and his house is filled with them.
