India’s premier Test spinner Ravichandran Ashwin expressed his delight for Rajnikanth’s movie ‘Kaala’. The much-anticipated movie is marred with controversy owing to the statement of the superstar.

Interestingly, Rajnikanth had made a comment on the Cauvery River Water Dispute.

Consequently, there are certain Karnataka film directors who are not happy with the comment of the megastar.

Meanwhile, Rajnikanth earlier stated he doesn’t understand the anger of the Karnataka distributors. The South Movie Superstar had repeated the Supreme Court’s stance on the Cauvery River Issue.

Ashwin is all excited for the Movie:

“Some people are protesting against Kaala in Karnataka. I only talked about the SC order on Cauvery and asked Karnataka to ensure it’s implemented. What is wrong in that?”, the Tamil superstar said before the release of his movie.

Meanwhile, the rift between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka over the Cauvery Water is perennial.

However, Ashwin is all excited for the movie. The off-spinner took to Twitter prior to the day of release.

The movie had hit the giant screens on Thursday (7th June).

However, Ashwin’s post read as, “Soooo Kaala clouds looming large in Chennai today!! Won’t need the clouds tomorrow”.

Meanwhile, protestors in Karnataka have thrown a warning to the theatre owner. They maintained that they will begin their protest if any ticket is sold for the movie. Thus, the court has issued the state government to provide adequate security for the people who will turn up to watch the movie.

Meanwhile, Ashwin might play for a new club MRC ‘A’ in the upcoming season under the ambit of Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).

Ravichandran Ashwin is currently playing for Jolly Rovers. He also led Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL). However, Punjab failed to make it to the playoff stages even after getting off to a good start.
