Chennai Super Kings’ Ruturaj Gaikwad is going from strength to strength in the last few matches. Ruturaj Gaikwad crafted two scintillating knocks against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders that also turned out to be match-winning ones. On this occasion against Kings XI Punjab in Abu Dhabi, the youngster put his fielding skills in the display, taking a magnificent diving catch.

The incident took place in the 18th over when James Neesham wanted to give Kings XI Punjab the death-overs push. The Kiwi all-rounder played a pull shot to the deep mid-wicket region, which Ruturaj Gaikwad kept tracking and did not lose sight of. As the ball began grounding, the 23-year old put the dive to catch and fortunately it stuck on his palms as Neesham had to depart for two off three balls.

Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab entered their last matches of IPL 2020 by carrying changes to their side. Kings XI Punjab made two changes by drafting James Neesham for Glenn Maxwell and Mayank Agarwal for left-arm seamer Arshdeep Singh. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings decided to bring Shardul Thakur, Faf Du Plessis, and Imran Tahir for Karn Sharma, Shane Watson, and Mitchell Santner. In a must-win game for KXIP, they managed 154 in 20 overs on the back of Deepak Hooda’s unbeaten 62 off 30 balls.
