Sara Tendulkar's Stalker Reveals Disturbing Details

Deb Kumar Maity, the man from Bengal who was recently arrested by Mumbai police for passing lewd messages and making several calls to Sachin Tendulkar‘s daughter Sara, has made some more startling claims. In a disturbing revelation, the middle-aged man, who is mentally unstable, revealed that he had his eyes on Sara for a long time.

Media reports suggested that Maity, who is a school dropout and unemployed, called at Tendulkar’s residence number for more than 20 times and even threatened to abduct his daughter.

“He also made several lewd comments during his phone calls and even went to the extent of threatening to kidnap her if she rejected his proposal of marriage,” said Bhimsen Gaikowar, a member of the Mumbai police team.

Deb Kumar, meanwhile, went on to reveal the details of the conversation he had with the person he spoke to when he called at Tendulkar’s residence to talk to Sara.

“Aap usko phone dena nahi chahte, (you don’t want to give her the phone),” he was quoted as saying by Mid-Day. “Woh sirf meri hai, main uske saath shaadi karunga, woh aur kisi ki nahi ho sakti (she is only mine; I will marry her, she cannot belong to anyone else),” he added.

The report further said that Maity had even revealed that he had followed Sara quite a few times.

“Maine uska  bohot baar pichhaa kiya hai, main usko nahi chhod ne wala (I have stalked her many times, I will not leave her),” the 32-year revealed.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is taking no chance in the case. The cellphone of the accused has been seized, and he has been sent to jail till Thursday (January 11).

“His (Maity’s) cellphone has been seized. He was produced before the Bandra metropolitan court, which has sent him to police custody till January 11,” a police officer said.

The accused’s family members have claimed that he was mentally ill for years and he often tortured his parents. Police are also yet to find out how he managed to get the phone number of Tendulkar’s residence.
