Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has responded to the news of Mohammad Amir announcing his retirement from all forms of international cricket.
Mohammad Amir has sent shockwaves around the cricketing folklore by calling it quits from the International scene at the ripe age of 28.
Amir, who had made a comeback to the national team in July 2016 following the culmination of his five-year ban, has cited ‘mental torture’ from the current team-management as the reason behind his pre-mature retirement.
Responding to the development, former speedster Shoaib Akhtar took to his official Twitter account where he claimed that he can revive Mohammad Amir’s career if he comes under his tutelage.
“Give @iamamirofficial under me and then see the wonders he does on the ground. Na zaaya kerain us ko,” Akhtar wrote.
