Shreyas Iyer Reveals His Favourite IPL Knock

Shreyas Iyer has bored the burden of leading an IPL franchise at a young age. His experience will only help him grow better in future. His captaincy has not effected his game at all, which come as a plus point for the Mumbai batsman, who has played some terrific knocks at the top of the order.
As the world has shifted to quarantine mode, Shreyas Iyer, a like many other cricketers have taken to Twitter to keep their fans engaged through Q&A session.

Iyer has reached the 90 plus figure a couple of times in the lucrative tournament. However, he has failed to convert it into centuries. During the interactive session, Iyer revealed his favourite knock from the IPL.
Answering a question by a fan, who asked, “Your favourite ipl inning #askshreyas,” Iyer rated his unbeaten 93-run knock against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018 as his favourite.

Shreyas Iyer’s match-winning knock against KKR
Asked to bat, Delhi Daredevils posted a stiff total of 219 runs, courtesy of his unbeaten knock and brilliant 62 from Prithvi Shaw at the top of the order. KKR, on the other hand, failed to pick up wickets at regular interval as the Delhi franchise dominated the show.
In response, KKR were restricted to 164 runs in the stipulated 20 overs as the Delhi franchise sealed the match by 55 runs.
Iyer was adjudged the player-of-the-match for his performance.
