South Africa vs Pakistan 2018-19: Sarfraz Ahmed Gives His Apology To Andile Phehlukwayo

It seems like Sarfraz Ahmed has been out of the controversy in South Africa. The Pakistan skipper has made racial remarks on Andile Phehlukwayo during the match, which was caught on the stump mic. Meanwhile, Sarfraz meets Andile in person and expressed his apology for the incident.
The skipper of Pakistan Sarfraz Ahmed is known for his anger on the field. He often loses his control over his words, which has already seen him being in a bowl of soup. However, it seems like he is out of the latest controversy successfully, after Andile Phehlukwayo of South Africa accepted the apology of Pakistan skipper.
The incident had taken place during the 2nd ODI between the two teams on Monday. South Africa was floundering at 80/5 in the 15th overs chasing a target of 204 set by Pakistan. Phehlukwayo then held on with Rassie Van Der Dussen to take South Africa all the way to a series-levelling victory.

Halfway through the 37th over of the South African innings, Phehlukwayo inside-edged a Shaheen Afridi delivery to deep fine leg for a single. He was on 50 at the time, and the stump mic caught wicketkeeper Ahmed making the offending remarks.
Meanwhile, Sarfraz Ahmed, in his latest tweet, quoted that the South African all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo has accepted his apologies. Further, he wants the people of South Africa also to accept his apology and forgive him.
Digging into his tweet, it read ”This morning I apologised to Andile Phehlukwayo and he was gracious enough to accept my apology .and I hope the people of South Africa also accept my apology.”

Perhaps, this is something, which would do a world of good for Sarfraz Ahmed for his cricketing career, as this incident might bring a change in his approach to the game. Sarfraz Ahmed always exhibits his anger on the field, which would certain gets a little change.
