Suresh Raina Wishes Inspirational Yuvraj Singh Happy Birthday on Twitter

Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh were once India’s middle order mainstays and achieved enormous heights together and individually for the Indian team. Both the players share a great bond and friendship and have given fans great memories to cherish. From the quarter-final victory against Australia in the 2011 World Cup to the T20 win against the same opposition in Sydney in 2016, it was the pair which took India past the line and clinches memorable victories.

On Yuvraj’s 36th birthday, Raina took to Twitter to wish the swashbuckling left-handed batsman a very Happy Birthday, Raina wrote, “To someone who has taught us to keep fighting always. You’ve made us all proud at various stages with your powerful performances. Wishing you a very happy birthday @YUVSTRONG12 May God bless you.”

Both the southpaws are currently struggling to cement a place for themselves in the Indian batting lineup.

Yuvraj has fought difficult odds to reach such a huge level, the most difficult of them being, the fight against Cancer. Yuvraj was India’s man of the tournament when India won the 2011 Cricket World Cup after a gap of 28 years. Yuvraj also holds the record for the fastest international fifty in 12 balls which he achieved during the 2007 T20 World Cup in which he hit six consecutive sixes in an over.
