The way things unfolded in the last few weeks, there were speculations that not all is well between Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. It all started with the famous ‘staring contest’ between the two when Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians locked horns in the just-concluded IPL 2020.

The incident had taken just a couple of days after the selectors ignored Suryakumar Yadav for the upcoming series against Australia. The incident made many say that the right-handed batsman was miffed at Kohli for his non-selection and thus got indulged in the staring contest.

And all hell broke lose on Monday (November 16) when the Mumbai batsman liked a controversial tweet, calling Kohli a paper captain and taking a dig at him as well as the selectors for the way Rohit Sharma’s selection matter panned out. The 30-year old also faced the flak on social media for liking the tweet.

Well, a day after liking the controversial tweet, Suryakumar Yadav has all but buried the rumours of bad blood between him and Virat Kohli by commenting on the latter’s latest tweet.

The India skipper, on Tuesday, posted a clip of himself training in Sydney and Suryakumar’s comment caught everyone’s attention. The Mumbai star, who has praised Kohli several times in the past, wrote:

Meanwhile, India’s tour of Australia will start with the ODI series on November 27. It will be followed by the T20I series before both the teams lock horns in a four-match Test series. Kohli, however, will return home after the first Test to be at the birth of his first child.
