Ishan Kishan, the Jharkhand skipper became the first Indian wicket-keeper and captain to score a century during the game against Jammu & Kashmir at Vijayawada.
Meanwhile, Kishan bounced back in style after scoring a duck against Delhi as Jharkhand record a nine-wicket victory against Kashmir. Ishan Kishan dominated the chase of 169 on Friday in Vijayawada, remaining unbeaten on 100 off 55 that saw him smacking eight fours and seven sixes. Jharkhand overhauled the target in 16.4 overs, finishing on 170 for one.
Ishan Kishan, who recently was in sublime touch against England Lions continued his great run with the bat. He propelled Jharkhand to their second victory in the tournament. In the process, the southpaw became the first Indian keeper-captain to achieve this feat. Moreover, this is also the fifth hundred by a wicket-keeper-captain in a T20 game. Former Pakistan cricketer Moin Khan sits on the top with 112 runs while Adam Gilchrist holds the second and third spot and Kamran Akmal occupies the fourth spot.

Shahbaz Nadeem helped Jharkhand gain an early advantage after they opted to bowl first. J&K recovered through Jatin Wadhwan (47) and Shubham Khajuria (31) who added 79 runs for the second wicket. Rahul Shukla got rid of both the batsmen in an over – Wadhwan holing out to Ishank Jaggi while Khajuria out hit wicket.

Manzoor Dar and Parvez Rasool steered the innings forward with J&K aiming for a big total. Irfan Pathan began his innings in blazing fashion, hitting three fours off the first four-ball faced but Shukla had him caught for 12 o trigger a collapse. From 144 for three in 16.4 overs, J&K managed to post 168 for nine with Shukla (5 for 36) causing the maximum damage, ending with a five-wicket haul.

However, in reply, Ishan Kishan and Anand Singh added 104 runs for the first wicket before Virat Singh and Ishan saw it through with three overs to go.
