The juniors are lucky to have MS Dhoni in the team, says Kuldeep Yadav

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been an asset for the national throughout his playing career. The legendary captain is undoubtedly the best finisher in the game this country has ever produced and has won a plethora of games for the men in blue. However, his capabilities as a cricketer do not stay restricted to batting only. MS Dhoni’s incredible sense of dealing with pressure situations made him one of the most glorified and successful captains in the history of the game. From the ICC Cricket World Cup to the ICC Champions Trophy, from the Indian Premier League to the ICC World T20, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been there done that.

Wrist spinners, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, spoke about Dhoni’s contribution from behind the stumps. Kuldeep Yadav seemed to have learned a lot from the Ranchi-born star while Yuzvendra Chahal agreed to whatever Yadav said.

”I spoke to Mahi. I was bowling wicket to wicket and was bowling a bit quicker. I was able to control the drift from the last couple of series. So, I had my areas and know where to bowl. Not an easy wicket to get runs,” Yuzvendra Chahal quoted saying while speaking in Post-innings presentation.

”We are very lucky to get him at that point in time. The hard work we put in the nets is really coming off well. I was trying to bowl more in the fuller areas. The ball was turning and it was a slow turn. Mahi keeps telling us where to bowl and we are very lucky to have him on our side. We pulled out well towards the end,” Kuldeep Yadav said.
