IPL 2020: Twitter Goes Berserk As Ishan Kishan Helps Mumbai Indians Salvage A Super Over Against RCB

Twitter went absolutely mad as Ishan Kishan played a magnificent 99-run innings to salvage a super over for Mumbai Indians against RCB. Matchday 10 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) saw another high octane match as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) locked horns against each other. Winning the toss, Mumbai Indians elected to bowl first. The decision, however, backfired as the RCB batsmen destroyed the Mumbai bowlers throughout the first innings.

RCB posted a massive total on the scoreboard as they scored 201/3 in their 20 overs. Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal, and AB de Villiers scored half-centuries to help RCB reach a gigantic total. Chasing a giant target, Mumbai Indians did not look on course initially. However, Kieron Pollard and Ishan Kishan stitched a match-saving partnership as Ishan Kishan smacked 99 runs in his blistering knock.

Ishan Kishan was on fire in the second innings and smocked the RCB bowlers all over the park. Eventually, Mumbai Indians equalled RCB’s total on the very last ball of the game and Kishan and Kieron Pollard salvaged a super over.
