The right-handed batsman smacked a quickfire half-century off just 24 balls. Later, he got out for 82 runs off 40 balls on Jason Holder’s delivery.

Earlier, Ishan Kishan smacked a brilliant knock of 84 runs off just 32 balls. His knock helped Mumbai Indians to reach a mammoth 83 on the scoreboard in the first 6 powerplay overs. Rohit Sharma got out for 18 runs off 13 balls. Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard scored 10 and 13 respectively.

Mumbai Indians currently take the 6th spot in the points table with 12 points. KKR take the 4th spot in the points table with 14 points. Moreover, KKR have a net run rate of +0.587 while MI have an NNR of -0.048. Hence, Mumbai Indians have the difficult task of surpassing KKR’s net run rate with a mammoth victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
