“Fabulous (the feeling). This is the feeling we have been waiting for very long. This is the first time we won the cup and it has come with the U 19 kids. Just shows the kind of depth we have and what is there for us in the future. The most special thing is the belief. I knew they had a bad game against Australia, but the way they have gathered and played there after, we kept it very simple and we thought we would just play proper and simple cricket and we would achieve this. From the National anthem and till the time we won we had goosebumps. I personally realize and understand how special this is for us” said Nooshin Al Khadeer, the head coach of the Indian U-19 side. Meanwhile, this is how Twitter reacted to India’s U-19 World Cup win.

“Quite pleased. I never really played abroad, amazing experience and heat is something I had to deal with. Had to adapt to different conditions. We train a lot in the nets and try and put that practice in the middle” said England skipper Grace Scrivens after losing the final. She was eventually chosen as the Player Of the Tournament.
Titas Sadhu was chosen as the Player Of The Match as she bowled a spell of two for six in her four over spell. She and her bowling partner Archana dismantled the top-order to start the slide for their opponents.
