IPL 2022: Twitter Reacts As Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda Set To Play For Lucknow Super Giants

Former Baroda teammates Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda will play for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as the duo was bought by the franchise in the ongoing IPL 2022 mega auction on Saturday.
The two were teammates in the domestic arena playing for Baroda before Hooda revealed that the elder Pandya brother was abusive towards him during practice sessions. Soon after, Hooda switched allegiances and went to play for Rajasthan.
LSG swooped in on Krunal in the auction after Punjab and Chennai were going head-to-head. Sunrisers Hyderabad joined in on the action but they were left behind following LSG’s final bid of 8.25 cr.
Earlier, Hooda was roped in for INR 5.75 cr as well after keeping his base price at INR 75 lakh. The all-rounder performed well for Punjab Kings in the first half of the IPL 2021 season.
This will be his fourth IPL franchise, having played for Rajasthan, Hyderabad, and Punjab before. His reunion with Krunal will be much anticipated and Twitterati couldn’t hold themselves back from making memes on the dressing room situation.
