Much to the same, the legendary New Zealand cricketer Brendon McCullum also has his moments during his glorious cricketing career so far. Revealing one of the major turnarounds of his career, the swashbuckling batsman quoted that unbeaten for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the maiden edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is a special one.

When Gautam Bhimani, a notable journalist asked McCullum over his thoughts on the breezy 158-run knock that changed the phase of the cricket. In response, the Kiwi batsman maintained he didn’t know whether it changed the style of cricket or not but changed his life certainly.

McCullum added he is very happy for that knock and lucky to be part of the IPL over the years. McCullum further added that he would be thankful for that night at Bangalore forever.
”I guess it was one of those days for me. I am not sure it may or may not changed the game but from my point of view, it changed my life completely. The 11 years of t20 cricket and the franchise cricket and competitions across the world. I am just lucky to be part of the tournaments around,” Brendon McCullum maintained.

”What happened on that one night at Bangalore. I thank for them who asked me to open innings and the owners of the tournament and the franchise. Maybe the stars are aligned otherwise, it couldn’t happen. I don’t know how it happened. I never tried to understand why it happened. I’m just grateful that it did,” he added.
