Rashid Khan Shares A Video Of Afghanistan People Showing Solidarity With India

Afghanistan and SunRishers Hyderabad leg-spinner, Rashid Khan, posted a heartwarming video for India on his Twitter account as a mark of solidarity with with the 1.4 billion people who are currently grappling with the deadly second wave of Covid-19.

Rashid Khan, who is currently plying his trade in the Indian Premier League, shared the video in which Afghanistani people can be seen holding placards containing messages of solidarity.

Khan captioned the video as-

”Everyone back home in Afghanistan is with you INDIA in this tough time. Please everyone stay safe stay home maintain social distance and Wear Mask plz”

With India currently grappling with the second wave, several cricketers have come forward to make their contributions towards the various relief funds.

Australian cricketer Pat Cummins has donated $50,000 towards the PM Cares Fund while former Aussie pacer Brett Lee has donated 1 BTC (Rs 41 Lakh) towards the Crypto Relief Fund.

India’s Sreevats Goswami has also extended his helping hand by donating as many as Rs 90,000 towards charities that assist patients in procuring oxygen cylinders and ventilators.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has also donated Rs 1 Crore towards ‘Mission Oxygen’ while IPL franchises like Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals have also announced donations to several relief funds.
