IND vs WI: Watch – Ravi Bishnoi Receives His Maiden India T20I Cap From Yuzvendra Chahal

Young Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi is all set to make his T20 International debut in the first match of the three-match T20I series between the India National Cricket Team and West Indies National Cricket Team on Wednesday, February 16 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Ravi Bishnoi received his maiden India T20 International cap from senior India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who has played 61 One Day Internationals and 50 T20 Internationals for India.

The 21-year-old Ravi Bishnoi has performed really well in the marquee Indian Premier League (IPL) for Punjab Kings (PBKS) franchise. He has played 23 games and has picked 24 wickets at an economy of 6.96 and an average of 25.2.

Also, his overall T20 stats are very impressive. Ravi Bishnoi has played 42 T20 games and has picked 49 wickets with his leg-spin at an economy of 6.63 and an average of 21.6.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) congratulated the young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi for his T20 International debut.

Meanwhile, India won the toss and have opted to bowl first in the first T20I match of the series in Kolkata. Also, Rohit Sharma and co. are playing with 5 batters, 1 all-rounder, 3 pacers and 2 spinners in the match.

Captain Rohit Sharma confirmed, after the toss, that Ishan Kishan will be opening the innings with him in the absence of vice-captain KL Rahul.
