Young Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant played a terrific one-handed helicopter shot during the first innings of the second T20 International of the three-match T20I series at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Friday, February 18.

Rishabh Pant, who is known for smashing incredible one-handed six, added a different variation to his trademark one-handed shot and made it look even wonderful. Notably, he added the helicopter shot of legendary wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni to his trademark shot and smashed a one-handed helicopter six.

In the first ball of the 19th over which was bowled by West Indies fast-bowling all-rounder Jason Holder, Rishabh Pant took full advantage of the full-toss delivery. The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman swung the bat very hard and whipped the full-toss ball away and it went over the midwicket for an incredible six.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and former Indian captain Virat Kohli played amazing knocks and helped the Indian team post a good total on the board. Virat Kohli scored 52 runs off 41 balls, including 7 fours and 1 six at a strike rate of 126.83. Meanwhile, Pant scored amazing 52 runs off 28 balls, including 7 fours and one six at a strike rate of 185.71.

Earlier, West Indies won the toss and opted to bowl first. Star West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder, who missed the first game, made a comeback to the team and he replaced Fabian Allen in the playing XI. India, on the other hand, made no changes in the team and they fielded the same playing XI.

Also, young all-rounder, Venkatesh Iyer played a good knock as he scored 33 runs off just 18 balls including 4 fours and 1 six. From West Indies, Roston Chase shined with the ball as he managed to pick a 3-wicket haul. Overall, in his 4 overs quota, he picked 3 big wickets of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli and gave runs at an economy of 6.25.
