Indian white-ball captain Rohit Sharma was disappointed after pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar dropped a catch off his own bowling during the second T20I of the three-match T20I series between India National Cricket Team India and West Indies National Cricket Team on Friday, February 18 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar came to bowl the 16th over of the match and he dropped a catch of explosive batsman Rovman Powell in the crucial phase of the match.

Bhuvneshwar delivered a short length delivery outside off and Powell tried to smash it over the long-on but he ended up toe-edging it straight up in the air and the Indian seamer settled under the ball near the extra cover but he was unable to take the catch as the ball popped out of his hands.

Skipper Rohit Sharma, who was standing near Bhuvneshwar was heavily disappointed with the dropped catch and he was seen kicking the ball furiously.

Nicholas Pooran And Rovman Powell Provide Stability To West Indies After A Poor Start

Chasing the target West Indies openers Kyle Mayers and Brandon King were off to a poor start and they added 34 runs before the former was dismissed by leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal in the 1st ball of the 6th over.
Young leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi picked a wicket in his first over itself. He dismissed opener Brandon King who scored just 22 runs off 30 balls.
Meanwhile, after that, the West Indies batters Rovman Powell and Nicholas Pooran showed a batting masterclass and both the players smashed boundaries all over the park. Also, both the players completed their fifty with an incredible strike rate.
