Virat Kohli’s struggle against wrist-spin continues as the Royal Challengers  Bangalore skipper has been dismissed by Kolkata Knight Riders’ Varun Chakravarthy in just the second over of the innings.

Kohli had got off the mark with a streaky four off Harbhajan Singh, where he ran down the wicket only to get an outside edge past the wicketkeeper.

His innings came to an end on the very first ball of the second over that Varun Chakravarthy thanks to a stunning backward running catch by Rahul Tripathi.

Chakravarthy had tossed the ball outside off stump and Virat Kohli, without getting to reach the pitch of the ball, threw his hands at it.

He miscued it and skied the ball over the cover region. Tripathi ran back, covered a lot of ground in a hurry, and completed a stunning catch to dismiss Virat for a 6-ball 5.

Varun Chakravarthy then landed another blow to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the very same over as he pushed it flatter and proceeded to knock over Rajat Patidar’s stumps.
