Indian skipper Virat Kohli did not look very pleased on Sunday when debutant Suryakumar Yadav dropped a catch on Sunday against England in the second T20. Notably, both Virat and Suryakumar were involved in a famous stare-off during IPL 2020 when Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians met.

After the game, there have been reports of Virat not being too happy with Yadav’s gesture during the IPL. However, Suryakumar has gone on to clarify that he keeps Virat Kohli in very high regards and neither of them has been affected by the stare-off. Now, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan made their debut for the Indian team on Sunday against England.

In the 14th over of the English innings, Jonny Bairstow smashed a shot towards Suryakumar Yadav and the latter failed to catch the ball on the boundary ropes. After his drop, Indian skipper Virat Kohli did not look very pleased with the effort. However, on the 5th ball of the same over, Suryakumar caught Bairstow in a second attempt and Virat congratulated the young man this time.

The England Cricket Team lost the toss on Sunday and Virat Kohli invited them to bat first. The English batsmen were once again on-song as they took to the crease and they kept ticking the scoreboard. The Indian bowlers looked in fine rhythm when compared to the first game. However, the Indian fielding looked a bit sloppy as there were quite a lot of dropped catches and dropped chances which have helped the English team in putting up a challenging total.
