Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh made a hilarious impersonation of Ishant Sharma to wish the pacer a happy birthday. The lanky seamer who was born in Delhi in 1988 turned 33 on Thursday (September 2).
The World Cup-winning all-rounder posted a video on his Instagram page where he is mimicking Ishant Sharma’s piercing shrill voice. He hopes ‘lambu’ takes more wickets in the remainder of his career, which began in 2007, and wishes he helps India win the ongoing series in England.
“Just joking lambu! Many happy returns of the day. Lots of love and best wishes always! Hope you have a great test series @ishant.sharma29” he captioned the video.

Ishant Sharma has taken 311 wickets in 104 Tests – being a pacer, playing these many Test matches is a remarkable achievement. While his overall average may not be of the elite bowlers, he has been remodeled his career over the last four years. He was a key contributor in India’s first-ever Test series wins in Australia on the 2018/19 tour.
In addition, he has also featured in 80 ODIs, and 14 T20Is.
Ishant Sharma excluded for the fourth Test; Joe Root opts to bowl first
Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami were dropped from the Indian team, which lost in Leeds, for the fourth Test at The Oval. In their place, Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur were included in the team.
Ishant Sharma did look uncomfortable and down on fitness at Headingley; he went wicketless in 22 overs in the third Test. Skipper Virat Kohli revealed that both the senior pacers are suffering from niggles and hence were left out.
England captain Joe Root also ringed a couple of changes: Ollie Pope came in place of Dan Lawrence while the returning Chris Woakes replaced Sam Curran. Root won the toss and elected to bowl first.
