Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018-19: Ishan Kishan Scores a Fine Hundred Against Assam

Jharkhand’s skipper and wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan scored a blistering knock of 139 off just 91 balls to take his team to a comfortable win by eight wickets against Assam in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. The southpaw opener completed his hundred off just 74 balls as he took on the attack against Assam. Thus, Kishan once again impressed with his pyrotechnics. Meanwhile, Jharkhand was able to restrict Assam to 221 in their allotted 50 overs.

In response, Jharkhand was able to get off to flying start as Kishan and Anand Singh put together a gargantuan alliance of 200 runs. Meanwhile, the left-handed Kishan batted in the topmost gear as he hit a dozen fours and smashed nine maximums in his quickfire knock.

Meanwhile, Shahbaz Nadeem continued his dream form going as he scalped three wickets and gave away 47 runs in his ten overs quota. Nadeem was able to take the best figures in List A cricket recently when he scalped eight wickets for just ten runs against Rajasthan.

On the other hand, Utkarsh Singh and Rahul Shukla scalped two wickets for Jharkhand. Meanwhile, Prithvi Shaw had also scored a fine hundred off just 61 balls while playing against Railways yesterday. Thus, the future is looking bright for the Indian cricket team.

Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan was India’s Under-19 captain in the 2016 World Cup. India Under-19 team could not cross the last hurdle against the West Indies side.

Ishan Kishan also plays for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. He has shown the potential to be the future of Indian cricket. Kishan has scored two hundred in his List A career whereas he has scored four centuries in his First-Class career.
