The last couple of days hasn’t gone great for Indian Skipper Virat Kohli. He is in the headlines for his controversial statement and it was followed by the unsuccessful suggestion to rest fast bowlers in IPL 2019. Amidst ruckus, Kohli received heaps of praises from the Windies great Brian Lara.

Ever since he received the maiden cap for Team India, Virat Kohli has grown from strength to strength. He has improved his technique to the core and now, he is breaking all the records, which comes in his way.

Speaking of Virat Kohli, Brian Lara kept on showering praises on Indian skipper. He added Virat Kohli will be right up there with the legends of the game, who played over the years. Further, he spoke on his work efficiency.

Lara also quoted he is not going to compare Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. Instead, he wants to enjoy the class of the Indian skipper and learn from his work ethic, which has helped him scale new heights.

“I’ve played with and against great players. I’ve been with Viv Richards, Richie Richardson and played against Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Jaque Kallis and Kohli is up there with the very best,” Lara toldIndiaTV

“I believe his work ethic and the way he plans his career, it’s built on a certain amount of efficiency. I’m amazed by that and his numbers speak for himself. I’m not going to compare as Tendulkar and Virat are from different eras. You just got to appreciate every single moment you’ve had the opportunity to see them.” 

Well, as Brian Lara said, the work ethic and determination of Kohli is mind-boggling. He is one of the greatest personalities in the world, who has proved that Hard Working leads to success.
