It looks like the Bihu dance is catching up in the Rajasthan Royals camp after their young star Riyan Parag celebrated the win over Sunrisers Hyderabad with the Assamese folk dance. After hitting Khaleel Ahmed for a six to seal a thrilling win for his side, Parag was seen doing the dance and was praised from all quarters for the same.

And on Wednesday, Jofra Archer was seen doing the same after he gave Royals a solid start against Delhi Capitals by castling in-form Prithvi Shaw for a duck on the very first ball of the match. The Delhi Capitals opener’s old problem of leaving a big gap between bat and pad was exposed again as the England star cleaned him up.

Shaw’s back foot remained rooted due to which he failed to come in line with the delivery. Jofra Archer’s delivery had moved a bit but it was enough to pass throw the big gap between the pad and the bat due to the lack of feet movement from the right-handed batsman.

And soon after the dismissal, a delighted Archer was seen doing the Bihu dance with Parag. He was also seen doing the dance while Royals were about to enter the field after Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat first.

As far as the match is concerned, Delhi Capitals were on 61 for 2 at the end of eight overs at the time of compiling this report. After dismissing Shaw for a duck, Archer had also dismissed Ajinkya Rahane for just 2.

Here is the Bihu dance from Jofra Archer after he dismissed Shaw:
