Steve Smith has been unstoppable with the bat in the ongoing Ashes 2019. England bowlers have struggled to get the better of Smith throughout the four Tests. But England batsman Jonny Bairstow got the better of the dashing batsman twice in London as he fooled Smith with his tricks.
The former Australian skipper has had a terrific Ashes leading Australia’s batting unit single-handedly. He has so far scored three centuries including a double ton and three half-centuries in the six innings he has batted. The English bowlers couldn’t find a way to get Steve Smith out.

But Jonny Bairstow has fooled Smith in the ongoing fifth and the final Test twice with his tricks. Previously, the English wicket-keeper batsman has fooled Smith with his fielding tricks. It forced Steve Smith into an unnecessary dive during day two of the final Test. It garnered a lot of attention on social media.
Jonny Bairstow was at his task once again as he bamboozled Steve Smith. The Englishman looked set to play a sweep, Bairstow changed his shot at the last moment and guided it to the third man. This left Smith frustrated and yelled at Bairstow for fooling him twice.

Speaking about the game, England are poised well with a 382-run lead with two days to go. Previously, the home side took a necessary lead after restricting 225 runs after posting 294 runs in the first innings. Trailing 1-2 down, England will be desperate to end the series 2-2 after failing to retain the Ashes urn.
