In the recently-concluded Tests between New Zealand and Pakistan, the Blackcaps secured a historic 2-1 win in the UAE. Kane Williamson, the Kiwi captain, who was the architect of the victory in the third Test, made headlines, but not for his scoring spree this time.

Meanwhile, instead of collecting the trophy from the sponsor-person, Williamson directly took it from the podium and turned back to celebrate with his team. Moreover, the man who was supposed to hand over the trophy was waiting behind him, but Kane ignored. Meanwhile, BJ Watling was awarded a cheque for his batting effort and was flaunting it only to see his skipper collecting it and throwing it away during the post-match presentation.

In addition to, the scene which got witnessed post the game is not associated with a team like New Zealand, as their reputation has been different altogether.

Furthermore, the Tests were levelled at 1-1, as New Zealand won the first Test while Pakistan bounced back in the second game. However, in the final Test, the Kiwis returned to bag the Test series away from home against Pakistan in 49 years, as they won the final match by 139 runs.

Meanwhile, Kane Williamson was the show-stopper who scored 89 in the first essay followed by a century in the second innings. He scored 139 runs along with Henry Nicholls, who remained unbeaten on 126 runs to post a decent target of 279 runs on day five against Pakistan.

However, Williamson and Yasir Shah received Man of the Match and Man of the Series.
