Sledging and taunting on the field have always remained an integral part of the India-Pakistan fixture. However, Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan faced the same even though he was not on the field. Saif Ali Khan had gone to Old Trafford to cheer for Team India during their marquee clash against arch-rivals Pakistan. And just before he could enter the stadium, a Pakistani fan spotted him and tried to have some fun at his expense.

He recorded Saif Ali Khan with his phone and started commenting on his movies especially the ones in which the senior actor played the role of Indian soldier killing Pakistanis. Calling Saif Ali Khan the eleventh water-boy of the Indian team, the Pakistani fan passed his comments.

Saif Ali Khan, nonetheless, had the last laugh as India thrashed Pakistan by 89 runs in a rain-affected game. Asked to bat first, India posted a mammoth total of 336 for 5 in 50 overs. In reply, Pakistan finished on 212 for 6 while chasing a revised total of 301 in 40 overs.

Openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul laid the platform for the big total of 336 for 5 by adding 136 runs for the first wicket. The partnership ended when Wahab Riaz sent back Rahul for 57. But Rohit went on to make the most of his start and smashed a breathtaking 140 while Virat Kohli scored 77 as India score big.

In reply, Pakistan lost opener Imam-ul-Haq (7) to the first-ever ball Vijay Shankar bowled in a World Cup but recovered well as Fakhar Zaman (62) and Babar Azam (48) shared a 104-run second-wicket stand.

However, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed the set pair in consecutive overs before Hardik Pandya removed Mohammad Hafeez (9) and Shoaib Malik (0) off successive deliveries as Pakistan slipped from 117-1 to 129-5.

Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed (12) was unable to drag his side back into the match, bowled by Shankar before the rain returned. And left an unrealistic 136 off five overs when they made their way back on to the pitch, Pakistan eventually closed on 212-6 from 40 overs.
