Watch: Umesh Yadav Sends Imrul Kayes' Leg-Stump Flying With Stunning Delivery
There is absolutely no stopping Umesh Yadav at the moment. Having warmed the bench for the better part of last year while India was touring, Umesh is finally getting a chance in the ongoing home series. And he is making up for all the lost time. In tough home conditions, Umesh Yadav has proved he is class apart.
The India fast-bowler proved his class once again on Saturday with a stunning delivery to dismiss Bangladesh opener Imrul Kayes in the ongoing first Test. Bangladesh needed a solid start to their innings after India declared their innings on a mammoth 493 for 6 in reply to the visitors’ first innings total of just 150.
India rode on their in-form Mayank Agarwal’s career-best 243 to post the big total. The likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed but Agarwal made sure to keep India ahead. He was well supported by Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravindra Jadeja as all three scored fifties.
India, meanwhile, will be looking to extend their winning start to the ICC World Test Championship. Having won all of their five games so far, the hosts are favourites to win the ongoing game too. Bangladesh need nothing less than a miracle to save the ongoing game.

Talking about Umesh Yadav, he did not let the tourists start their second innings on a good note as he castled Kayes with a beauty. Umesh struck in just the sixth over of the day to start the session on a good note. The right-arm pacer bowled one that was full and moved in with good pace. Kayes tried to drive the ball but was nowhere close to the ball. Consequently, the ball passed through the big gap between the pad and bat to uproot the leg-stump.
