India went on to defeat Australian team by 50 runs in the second one-day international at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday (21st September).

Virat Kohli once again won the toss and elected to bat first on a track that was under covers for over two days due to heavy rains. The top order again disappointed but Indian skipper was up to the task and scored a brilliant 92 on a challenging wicket against a decent Australian bowling attack.

During the Indian innings, in the 33rd over Marcus Stoinis bowled a slower-one that deceived Kedar Jadhav and behind the stumps, Matthew Wade failed to gather the ball cleanly which allowed Virat Kohli to call Jadhav for a bye and as soon as the run was completed Matthew Wade along with other members of the team starting having a word with Indian captain over his decision to go for the extra-run.

The scenario did not end there, as when Australian wicket-keeper batsman came into bat and fell off Kuldeep Yadav‘s wrong-un, Virat was all fired-up and in the heat of the moment used some harsh words while giving Wade a send-off he will never forget.

Here’s the video of that incident:

Kuldeep Yadav further went on to complete his maiden hat-trick and became the third Indian bowler along with Kapil Dev and Chetan Sharma to take an ODI hat-trick.

India are now leading the five-match series 2-0 and the third game will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Sunday, 24th September.
