Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian leg-spinner has been in fine form in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). On Saturday, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) took on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match 33 of the IPL 2020. Yuzvendra Chahal was once again on fire against Rajasthan Royals (RR) as he picked two consecutive wickets in two balls to put the opposition under pressure.

However, what made the wickets more special was the fact that Chahal’s fiance, Dhanashree Verma was present in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium to celebrate his wickets. Chahal first dismissed Robin Uthappa who was looking in fine touch as he went out to open the innings for the first time in this year’s IPL.

In the fourth ball of the 8th over, Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Robin Uthappa as he was caught by Aaron Finch on the deep mid-wicket boundary. On the very next ball, Chahal picked Sanju Samson as he was caught on the long-off boundary by Chris Morris as Chahal was on the hat-trick opportunity. As soon as Chahal picked his second wicket, his fiance, Dhanashree Verma, was seen celebrating from the stands.

Chahal, however, missed the hat-trick opportunity as Jos Buttler left a delivery on his hat-trick ball but the leggie continued his fine run that he has been carrying ever since the inception of the tournament.

He took to Instagram to post an adorable picture from the ceremony as he confirmed his Rokawith Dhanashree. The engagement ceremony marks the union of both the bride and groom’s family and friends. Roka is one of the most significant ceremonies that take place before an Indian wedding.
