West Indies vs India 2019: 1st Test, Antigua – India’s Predicted Playing XI; Finally, the time came for the Indian fans to enjoy some red-ball fun. After a hectic white-ball schedule in the last few months, finally, the day came for the Indian National Cricket Team to wear their white Jersey in order to play the 5-day format. It will also be the start of the ICC Test Championship for the Indian team. Meanwhile, we predicted the playing XI of the Indian team for the first Test facing West Indies.
India’s Predicted Playing XI:
1. Mayank Agarwal:
The youngster from Karnataka had a stellar debut against Australia in Test format of the game. He would be continued in a similar role for the team. The flamboyant batsman can take the game away from the opposition with ease when he gets his sight on the ball.

This series would be the final chance for KL Rahul to showcase his skills in the longer version of the game. He got enough chances in Australia and once again, the board trying to see his skills for one last time.
3. Cheteshwar Pujara:
The rock-solid Pujara will be on the show for the team at number 3 position. Over the years, he has been incredible for the team with his blistering batting. The flamboyant batsman has been a blessing in the recent past for Virat Kohli-led side.
4. Virat Kohli:
The Indian skipper has got the work to do out in order to consolidate his position in the ICC Test rankings. Already Steve Smith came close to his rating, which means that he needs to deliver at any cost against the Windies.
5. Ajinkya Rahane:
The vice-captain also got the task cut out. This would be the testing series for him, as he couldn’t survive in the Test cricket if he fails in this series. He already got the extension in the longer version.

6. Hanuma Vihari:
The all-rounder has shown his class in England and Australian conditions for the team. He got the solid technique to play for a long time and also a very useful bowling option for Virat Kohli.
7. Rishabh Pant:
His heroics with the bat in Australia and England would certainly see him in the playing XI ahead of Saha. The stylish southpaw will be the cynosure of the eyes for obvious reasons.
8. Ravindra Jadeja:
The stylish southpaw has always been a brilliant player when it comes to red-ball cricket. He can give those match-winning spells for the team alongside his batting when it matters the most.
9. Ravichandran Ashwin:
Yeah, yet another spinner makes into the playing XI, as the conditions in West Indies suits the spinners well. Apart from that, Ashwin adds great depth to the batting lineup and also got brilliant record against West Indies.
10. Mohammad Shami:
The right-handed fast bowler has got better stats than any other fast bowler against the West Indies team. He is a breakthrough bowler, which would see him in the playing XI ahead of Ishant Sharma.
11. Jasprit Bumrah:
He has been rested to deliver in the Test format. Of late, he became a regular wicket-taker for the team, which would certainly see him delivering the goods. The fast bowler got the required goods in him to take the game away from the opposition.
