WPL 2023 - BCCI Announce Schedule For Women’s Premier League as Mumbai Indians Set To Take On Gujarat Giants In Season Opener

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction for 2023 has concluded, and the BCCI has announced the league schedule. The tournament will begin on March 4, with Mumbai Indians playing against Gujarat Giants at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
The WPL final is scheduled for March 26 at the Brabourne Stadium. The first double-header day will be on March 5, with Royal Challengers Bangalore facing Delhi Capitals at the Brabourne Stadium in the afternoon, and UP Warriorz playing their first game against Gujarat Giants in the evening at the DY Patil Stadium.

The tournament will see a total of 4 double headers with the first game starting at 03:30 PM while all the evening games take place at the usual time i.e 07:30 PM.
Each stadium in Mumbai, namely the DY Patil Stadium and Brabourne Stadium, will host a total of 11 matches during the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023. The league stage will end with a match between UP Warriorz and Delhi Capitals on March 21 at the Brabourne Stadium.
The Eliminator is scheduled to be held at the DY Patil Stadium on March 24. Finally, the WPL 2023 final will take place on March 26 at the Brabourne Stadium.
