Yuvraj Singh is taking the lead as far as conducting Instagram Live sessions with fellow cricketers is concerned. With the proliferation of the global pandemic that is the coronavirus, cricketers, like others, are forced to stay locked up in self-isolation.

And, they are making the most of it via their presence on social media where Instagram live session has gradually become a rage. Former Indian swashbuckling batsman Yuvraj Singh conducted another live session on Monday and this time he roped in his former partner-in-crime, Mohammad Kaif.

The duo chatted up a storm on a plethora of aspects concerning cricket. During the session, Kaif asked Yuvraj whether he would consider doing commentary in the near future. And, Yuvraj had a pretty hilarious answer to Kaif’s query. Yuvraj said that he can’t tolerate some people in the commentary box and while he would like to do ICC events like T20 World Cup and 50-over World Cup, he is too impatient to be a full-time commentator.

“You can get along with people. I can’t tolerate some people in the commentary box (laughs). It really depends if a time comes when I want to commentate, I will. I want to do ICC events – T20 World Cup, ICC ODI World Cup. I don’t think I can do commentary all the time. I don’t have the patience to sit and talk about cricket all the time again. I won’t be able to do it,” said the former left-handed batsman.

Yuvraj added that he enjoys coaching more than the commentary and so it is unlikely that he’ll become a full-time commentator.

“I feel I enjoy coaching more than commentary. I don’t think commentary will be my full-time job,” added the 38-year-old.

Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif had a lot of memorable partnerships for India during their playing days. But none can be more memorable than their 121-run-stand in the Natwest Trophy final at Lord’s in 2002.

The duo racked up half-centuries to pull India out of a precarious position of 5-146 to lead them to one of the Men in Blue’s greatest-ever victory in One-day International cricket and also to the then highest successful run-chase of 326.
