Shahid Afridi
The former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi played the game of cricket for over 20 years with all pomp and glory. Controversy has been a constant friend in his career but that has not deterred him from playing the game.
Afridi married his cousin Nadia at the age of 20 years and has been married for the last 21 years. They have five daughters. It was recently announced that his daughter, Aqsa, will be engaged to current Pakistani cricketer Shaheen Afridi.
Saeed Anwar
The former Pakistan opener Saeed Anwar got married to one of his cousins Lubna. in March 1996. Lubna who is a doctor by profession is also a distant cousin of the cricketer. They had a daughter named Bismah who unfortunately passed away in 2001 due to prolonged illness. However, the daughter’s absence has only deepened the love between the two as the couple has been married for 25 years now.
Anwar, who scored 8824 ODI runs for Pakistan is best remembered for his 194 against India in Chennai on 21st May 1997. His knock was the highest individual ODI score back then. Anwar retired from international cricket after the 2003 ODI World Cup.

Mustafizur Rahman
Bangladesh’s bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman married his cousin sister Samia Parvin after the 2019 World Cup. Many of his current teammates attended his wedding. He is well and truly the leader of the Bangladesh bowling attack in recent times.
The Fizz, as he is popularly known came into prominence in the 2016 IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was a part of the side that went onto win the IPL title that year. Famous for his off-cutters and slower deliveries, the Fizz as reported will not be a part of the remaining IPL 2021 season when it resumes in the UAE.
