Ganguly captained India in 49 tests and out of it, he lost the toss 28 times which is the third most number of toss losses by an Indian test captain. Ganguly is currently working as the President of BCCI post his retirement.
MS Dhoni:

He did have a successful test career as well and he had the technique to withstand in the longer format. Dhoni is the best wicketkeeper-batsman India has had in all formats.
Dhoni captained India in 60 tests and out of it, Dhoni had lost the toss 34 times which is the second most number of toss losses by an Indian captain in tests. Post his retirement from international cricket, Dhoni is still playing IPL for the Chennai Super Kings as the skipper of the franchise.
