AB de Villiers takes the 6th spot in the list of most IPL centuries. The former South African cricketer has smashed 3 centuries in the tournament so far. The right-handed batsman has been part of Royal Challengers Bangalore since the 2011 edition. The 37 years old cricketer smashed his first century in the 2009 edition in a match against Chennai Super Kings. He hit unbeaten 105 runs while playing for Delhi Daredevils.

Villiers’ second century arrived in the 2015 season when he smashed unbeaten 133 runs against Mumbai Indians while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. His 3rd century was an unbeaten 129-run knock against Gujarat Lions in the 2016 season. So far, AB de Villiers has scored 5056 runs in 162 innings in the tournament.

5. Sanju Samson- 3 Centuries

Sanju Samson has also hit 3 centuries in the tournament and gets the 5th spot in this list. The wicket-keeper batsman smashed 102 runs in IPL 2017 in a match against Rising Pune Supergiants, while playing for Delhi Daredevils. In the 2019 season when he was representing Rajasthan Royals, he smashed an unbeaten 102-run knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In IPL 2021, the right-handed batsman hit a century (119) against Punjab Kings. He is the skipper of Rajasthan Royals currently. In 110 innings in the tournament so far, Samson has scored 2861 runs.

Shane Watson gets the 4th spot in this list with 4 centuries. The former Australian cricketer smashed a century in the 2013 edition while representing Rajasthan Royals. He scored 101 runs against Chennai Super Kings. His 2nd century arrived in the 2015 season when he scored an unbeaten 104-run knock against Kolkata Knight Riders.

He smashed two centuries in IPL 2018 while playing for Chennai Super Kings. He smashed 106 runs against Rajasthan Royals and an unbeaten 117 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In 141 innings, the all-rounder scored 3874 runs. Watson played for Rajasthan Royals from seasons 2008 to 2015. In the 2016 and 2017 seasons, he was part of Royal Challengers Bangalore. From 2018 to 2020, the right-handed batsman played for Chennai Super Kings.

David Warner has also hit 4 centuries in IPL and he gets the 3rd spot in this list. The Australian batsman has smashed 4 centuries in 148 innings. Warner hit his first century in the 2010 season. He smashed unbeaten 107 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders while representing Delhi Daredevils. In the 2012 edition, he smashed an unbeaten 109-run knock against Deccan Chargers.

In the 2017 season, the left-handed batsman was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad and smacked 126 runs in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders. In the 2019 season, he smashed unbeaten 100 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore. David Warner has scored 5447 runs in 148 innings in the Indian Premier League so far.

Warner was part of Delhi Daredevils from 2009 to 2013. Since the 2014 edition, he has represented Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Virat Kohli holds the 2nd rank with 5 centuries in the tournament so far. The Indian skipper has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore since the debut edition of 2008. Kohli’s 4 centuries arrived in the single edition of IPL 2016. He smacked unbeaten 100 against Gujarat Lions; unbeaten 108 runs against Rising Pune Supergiants; 109 runs against Gujarat Lions; and 113 runs against Kings XI Punjab in the season.

The right-handed batsman’s 5th hundred came in the 2019 edition, which was a 100-run knock against Kolkata Knight Riders. The RCB skipper is the highest run-scorer in the tournament with 6076 runs in 191 innings.

The West Indies cricketer hit two centuries in IPL 2011 while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore- unbeaten 102 against Kolkata Knight Riders and 107 run-knock against Kings XI Punjab. In the 2012 season, he smashed an unbeaten century (128*) against Delhi Daredevils while playing for RCB.

In the 2013 season in a match against Pune Warriors India, Gayle smacked an unbeaten 175-run knock. In IPL 2015, the left-handed batsman smashed 117 runs against Kings XI Punjab. Gayle was part of Kings XI Punjab in the 2018 edition and hit an unbeaten 104 run-knock in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. So far, Chris Gayle has played 139 innings in the tournament and scored 4950 runs.
