They scored 2601 runs in the season, most than any other team. Shane Watson was their highest run-scorer with 472 runs in 15 matches. Graeme Smith smashed 441 runs in 11 innings whereas Yusuf Pathan hit 435 runs.
IPL 2009
In IPL 2009, Shane Warne-led side showcased a poor show and ended on the 6th spot in the points table. As a result, they didn’t qualify for the playoffs. Rajasthan Royals once again performed poorly in IPL 2010, again under the leadership of Shane Warne. In IPL 2012, Rajasthan Royals were led by Rahul Dravid. However, the franchise couldn’t change its fate and finished on the 7th spot in the points table.
