Is your Dream11 fantasy team all set for the first T20I between India and Australia (AUS vs IND 1st T20I)?

The India tour of Australia has its 1st T20I on 4th December (Friday) as these both the teams will face each other at Manuka Oval, Canberra. When the two countries faced each other last time, it was at 2019 and Australia beat India 2-0 right in Indian soil. Having already won the ODI series with two comfortable wins, Australia are looking to continue their dominance in the shorter format.

Since the credits of these star players are too high, you cannot include all of them in your fantasy team. Also, there are a few players that you cannot afford to ignore in your fantasy team for this big encounter.

AUS vs IND 1st T20I: 3 Players You Can Exclude From Your Dream11 Fantasy Team, India’s tour of Australia 2020-21

1) Alex Carey

Alex Carey had a disastrous start to his T20I career, with 176 runs at an average of just 12.57 and a strike-rate of just 116.55. If it looks horrible, it is even worse when we consider his T20I statistics this year. In five innings this year, he could score only 51 runs in 50 balls averaging a meagre 10.2. He was out for single-digit scores in each of his last three innings. A player with such figures wouldn’t obviously attract any fantasy team.

2) Shreyas Iyer

The Indian batsman who tried to solve India’s middle-order woes in the ODI format, couldn’t do any of it in T20Is so far. In this format, he scored 417 runs, averaging 27.8 at a strike-rate of 129.5. More disappointing was his last three matches in New Zealand tour, with Shreyas scoring 51 in 52 balls, quite similar to Alex Carey above. Having never played on Australian soil earlier, his poor form needs a lot of improvement to excel well. A player without a good recent form is always risky to pick in your team.

3) Navdeep Saini

After terrible figures in the first two ODI matches earlier, Navdeep Saini was dropped along with his RCB teammate Yuzvendra Chahal for the recent ODI match. He has taken only two wickets in India’s recent series, which was a five-match series against New Zealand in Jan-Feb this year. In the recent IPL season, he was way far from the mark with only 6 wickets in 13 matches. There is no certainty that he would be a part of the playing XI.
