AFG vs SCO Prediction, Who Will Win The Match Between Afghanistan vs Scotland? ICC T20 World Cup Match No 17. Scotland will play against Afghanistan in the 17th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 on Monday. Scotland have been impressive so far in the tournament. Outstanding performances in the first round helped them reach the top of the table in Group B.
In 3 matches, they have managed to win all three of them. Ahead of their first match of the Super 12 stage against Afghanistan, Scotland would look to continue the winning momentum. Speaking of their batting unit, Richie Berrington has done the bulk of scoring for them. He played a scintillating knock of 70 runs in 40 balls against Papua New Guinea to help his team earn a 17-run win.

Skipper, Kyle Coetzer played an unbeaten 41-run knock-off of 28 balls in the last game against Oman. It should give him some confidence ahead of an important game on Monday. Sadly, George Munsey hasn’t lived up to the expectations.
He has blown hot and cold thus far in the tournament. Having said that, he hasn’t looked out of touch either but has failed to convert the starts into big scores. With the ball, Josh Devay has been their standout player. The last game against Oman saw him claiming 3 for 25 in 4 overs. In the previous game against Papua New Guinea, Davey finished with figures of 4 for 18 in 3.3 overs.
Facing them are Afghanistan, who will be playing their first game of the tournament. On a slow and sluggish wicket of Sharjah, the likes of Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman would be desperate to roll their arms. The trio is likely to make a great purchase from the surface.
In the batting department, Rahmanullah Gurbaz will be the biggest bet. He has a wide range of shots and that makes him a T20 specialist. In 13 T20 internationals, he has managed to score 446 runs at an average of 34.3. Besides, the presence of Hazratullah Zazai and Mohammad Shahzad makes it a formidable batting unit. It will be interesting to see how Afghanistan begin their ICC T20 World Cup 2021 campaign on Monday.
Keeping in mind, the slow surface of Sharjah Cricket Stadium, the Afghanistan spinners are likely to make a big impact in the game and thus are favourites to win the game.
