Adam Zampa scalped 5 wickets in the match. Later, Australia openers David Warner hit 18 while Aaron Finch scored 40 runs. Australia chased the target in just 6.2 overs and won the match by 8 wickets.

West Indies lost to Sri Lanka in their previous game. Batting first, Sri Lanka posted a good total of 189-3. Pathum Nissanka hit 51 runs while Charith Asalanka slammed 68. Dasun Shanaka also played a crucial knock of 25 off 14 deliveries.

Later, Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer were the only players from West Indies who played good knocks. Pooran scored 46 while Hetmyer slammed unbeaten 81. West Indies reached 169-8 in the end and lost the match by 20 runs.
