The English batter Alexander Daniel Hales has been consistently delivering amazing performance in the T20 leagues all around the world and is one of the most prolific batsmen in the T20 format of the game However he is still unable to find a spot in England’s national cricket team.

So far Hales has managed to score 1644 runs in T20 Internationals at a strike rate of 136.65 and 8733 runs in T20 cricket at a strike rate of 145.93. Hales has got highly impressive numbers in T20I as well as T20 cricket and he bats with a massive strike rate as well.

However, Due to some issues between England and Wales Cricket Board, Alex Hales has been not considered for selection despite his red hot form in cricket.

The 32-year-old T20 specialist is a worthy contender and has got explosive hitting capabilities and there is no doubt he will be a great asset for any team in the world especially in the shorter format of the game.

Shikhar Dhawan

The 35-year-old Shikhar Dhawan is one of the most experienced and dependable limited-overs batters in world cricket at the point in time. Dhawan has got that highly impressive batting technique to deliver good performance against any bowling unit in the world.

Shikhar Dhawan missed out on the T20 World Cup 2021 squad was a shocker for cricket fans as many thought that the BCCI selection committee would add him to the squad based on his healthy amount of experience and his red hot form in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, he was not given the slot in the Indian team.

Talking about the numbers, Shikhar Dhawan is the player with the most runs as an opener in the history of the Indian Premier League. Overall, He has scored 5577 runs at an average and strike rate of 35.29 and strike rate of 127.35. Meanwhile, in T20Is Dhawan has scored 1759 runs at an average and strike rate of 27.92 and 126.36.

Notably, Shikhar Dhawan has been scoring 450+ runs in IPL since 2016 and there is no doubt if Dhawan would have been on the team, he would have performed amazingly well. He was really unfortunate to miss out on selection.

Faf Du Plessis

The 37-year-old Francois du Plessis is a very cool, classy, and composed player from South Africa. He has been one of the most consistent batsmen ever produced by team South Africa and is one of the most prolific run-scorers for Proteas in international cricket.

Almost every T20 World Cup 2021 squad prediction of South Africa contained the name of Faf Du Plessis. However when the Squad was announced fans were left upset and shocked not to see the name of Faf Du Plessis in the team.

Notably, Du Plessis on February 17 announced his retirement from Test cricket to focus on his T20 career. Also, he is in red hot form in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League. Du Plessis has already smashed a century in the league.

So far Faf Du Plessis has scored 277 runs in CPL 2021 at an average of 34.62 and strike rate of 143.52 with his highest being 120*. Du Plessis can bat as an opener and as a middle-order batter and he provides amazing flexibility to the team. He possesses the capability to destroy the strongest bowling unit in the world. Faf Du Plessis missing out on the T20 world cup 2021 squad is really unfortunate.

Team India was having a lot of trouble filling the number 4 spot in the Indian limited-overs team until they found the 26-year-old aggressive batter Shreyas Santosh Iyer. Iyer was handed over the opportunity to fill the number 4 spot in the Indian national cricket team and he took the opportunity with both hands delivering back-to-back good performances.

Iyer was the captain of the Delhi Capitals and is still is one of the most crucial members of the team. He continuously contributed good runs for the team with bat and even took Delhi into the finals under his leadership.

Also, it was expected that he would be India’s number 4 in the T20 World Cup 2021. However, everything got messed up when he suffered a shoulder injury in the match against England. The injury was very severe and Iyer was ruled out for several months and this eventually led to Suryakumar Yadav taking his spot after performing exceptionally well in IPL & International games.

Shreyas Iyer was unlucky to miss out on the final 15-member squad and he was kept as a traveling reserve by the India national cricket team for the upcoming marquee T20 World Cup 2021 event.

Ben Stokes

The English all-rounder Benjamin Andrew Stokes is arguably the best modern-day fast-bowling all-rounder. Stokes is one of the vital members of team England in all three formats of the game.

Ben Stokes can do everything for his team. He can bat in top order, he can bat in the middle order and he can play the role of finisher batting in the lower order. Meanwhile, with the ball in hand, he is also very effective as he can bowl crucial spells for his team in powerplays as well as death overs. His bowling and batting skills are paired with amazing catching skills and he is one of the best fielders in world cricket. Undoubtedly Ben Stokes is one of the best players to have in a T20 team as he provides a lot of flexibility.

Unfortunately, he won’t be providing his services to England in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 event. As he has decided to take a break from cricket to focus on his mental well-being.

There is no doubt that Ben Stokes would have had a big impact if he was part of the much-awaited T20 World Cup 2021. England who already is one of the strongest and favorites to win the championship will definitely miss the services of the 30-year-old all-rounder.

Chris Morris

The South African Chris Morris is a bowling all-rounder who bowls at a quick pace and is a handy lower-order batter, as he has got that capability to smash the bowl towards the boundary from the very first ball of his innings.

Morris has got a plethora of experience in T20 cricket and was very unlucky to miss out on South Africa’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2021 tournament despite being one of the most talented players in the Proteas line-up.

Recently Rajasthan Royals recruited Morris for a whopping Rs 16.25 crore for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 and he didn’t disappoint and he justified his price. Chris Morris went wicketless only once in 7 games and was able to fire with a bat whenever he got the opportunity.

Overall he was able to pick 14 Wickets for Rajasthan Royals at an average, economy, and Strike Rate of 16.00, 8.61, and 11.14. However, despite good performance, he was unable to make a cut into the T20 World Cup 2021 squad of team South Africa.

The West Indies mystery spinner Sunil Narine is regarded as one of the best spinners to step foot in the T20 Cricket Scene. With many T20 specialists like Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo making a come back into the team for T20 World Cup 2021, many thought Narine will also join the party. However, this was not the case as Narine was not picked in the West Indies world cup squad.

Sunil Philip Narine is one of the most consistent performers in the T20 cricket World. He plays T20 leagues all around the world and has been delivering back-to-back amazing performances.

Notably, other than bowling, Narine has made a huge improvement in his batting in the last few years. Just like a typical West Indies player he has got that amazing power-hitting skills and he is a huge asset for any team in the world especially in the shorter format of the game.

Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar is the go-to bowler for the Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the Indian Premier League. Deepak Chahar doesn’t bowl very fast but he has got amazing swing under his belt backed by awesome consistency to deliver deliveries in good line and length.

Many thought that Deepak Chahar will be able to make a cut in India’s T20 World Cup 15-member squad after his amazing run in the Indian Premier League. However, this was not the case as he was drafted in the T20 World Cup 2021 team as a standby player.

His exclusion from India’s main squad was a shocker for everyone considering his medium pace deliveries in the slow UAE pitches would have made him a deadly bowler. Also, he has improved a lot on his batting and is handy in low-order batsmen. Deepak Chahar was very unfortunate to miss out on the main T20 World Cup 2021 squad despite his consistent run in cricket.

Jofra Archer

The England cricketer Jofra Archer is one of the most exciting players to watch out for, he is a fierce fast bowler who bowls sensational quick deliveries and is an explosive lower-order batsman.

The deadly pacer Archer has got a plethora of experience in T20 cricket as he has already bagged 153 wickets in 121 games at an average of 22.52 and an economy of 7.65. Also, he is Team England’s go-to bowler in all three formats.

Jofra Archer was all set to be part of England’s world cup squad but he has been ruled out of cricket for an entire year after a recurrence of a stress fracture in his right elbow.

England will definitely miss the services of Jofra Archer in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. If he was present in the squad English pace battery would have looked even stronger.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal is India’s highest wicket-taker in the T20 Internationals format. He is one of the most experienced spinners team India has and many experts believe he is one of the best spinners in world cricket currently in limited-overs cricket.

Yuzvendra Chahal was going through a rough patch both in the Indian Premier League and International Cricket which eventually led to him missing out on the T20 World Cup 2021 squad.

Instead of Yuzi Chahal India decided to go with exceptionally talented Mumbai Indians leg spinner Rahul Chahar in the world cup.

Talking about numbers Chahal has picked 63 wickets in T20I and 125 wickets in IPL at an economy of 8.32 and 7.71. Meanwhile at an average of 25.3 and 23.3. There is no doubt that Chahal could have been very effective in the UAE surface during the upcoming T20 World Cup tournament.

Imran Tahir was left out from the squad and he openly expressed his disappointment on missing out on the T20 World Cup 2021 squad stating “I served the country for 10 years. I think I deserve a little more respect than these guys thinking I’m worthless.”

Imran Tahir had an amazing T20I career as he was able to pick 63 wickets at an average of 15.04 and an Economy rate of 6.73. Meanwhile, in T20s he has bagged 420 wickets at an average and economy of 19.69 and 6.95.

Unfortunately, a player of Imran Tahir’s Calibre despite giving everything has not been picked in the Proteas team for the T20 World Cup 2021. There is no doubt that he would have been very effective in the slow UAE tracks.
