India National Cricket Team didn’t take the knee in support of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement in the 28th match of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 against Kane Williamson-led New Zealand National Cricket Team at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, October 31.
Sportspersons across the world have been taking the knee to showcase their support towards the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, several T20 World Cup 2021 teams have also been taking the knee before every World Cup game.

Meanwhile, in the first T20 World Cup 2021 game against Pakistan National Cricket Team, all the Indian players were seen taking the knee. However, surprisingly Pakistan players didn’t do that instead they had hands on hearts to showcase their support towards the BLM movement.
“That was communicated to us by the management. The Pakistan team agreed to pay their tribute to the same cause. We accepted our side of things and that was how it was decided,” Kohli said after the match.
