Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has reckoned that the fast bowling department looks very good on both sides in the warm-up fixture between India and Australia. Both teams are coming off a win in their previous game and they have taken their confidence to the next level through the wins. This will be an exciting fixture with both sides possessing a lot of quality match winners.

India pulled off a comfortable win against England in their warm-up fixture and the openers looked sublime with their extraordinary hitting skills in the powerplay. On the other hand, Australia scraped through the line against New Zealand in their previous game and the bowling department looked solid in the men in the yellow side.

Aakash Chopra Feels One Batsman Will Be Dismissed By A Yorker

Aakash Chopra felt that either of Jasprit Bumrah, Mitchell Starc, Mohammad Shami, or Pat Cummins might end up taking a wicket off a yorker. He added that the fast bowling quality from both sides is something extraordinary and it cannot get better.

“One batter, I feel, will be dismissed by a yorker. Either it will be Mitchell Starc’s yorker or Shami’s or Bumrah’s. It can be Pat Cummins as well, I mean there is too much quality when you talk about the fast bowling on both sides.” Aakash Chopra told on his youtube Channel

Aakash Chopra Reckons Fast Bowlers Will Pick More Wickets Than Spinners

India- Australia warm-up fixture will be an afternoon game and hence the dryness of the pitch will assist spinners. However, Aakash Chopra has predicted that the fast bowlers will be more effective than spinners despite the conditions.

“I feel fast bowlers can pick more wickets than spinners in this encounter. Although it is an afternoon game and there might be slightly more help for the spinners but still I feel that fast bowlers will take more wickets.” he added

India will be looking to win the toss and bat first, as setting up the total hasn’t been easy for the Virat Kohli-led side for a long time now.
