T20 World Cup 2021: Super 12 Points Table After Australia vs England And South Africa vs Sri Lanka

The 25th match of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 saw the battle between Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka National Cricket Team and Temba Bavuma-led South Africa National Cricket Team at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday, October 30.
Notably, South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by 4 wickets to register their 2nd victory in the World Cup.
Heading into the match team South Africa were having a lot of confidence on their side having won against defending champions West Indies. On the other hand, team Sri Lanka were low on confidence after losing against Australia by 7 wickets.
Meanwhile, South Africa won the toss and decided to invite Sri Lanka to bat. Also, Quinton de Kock was back in the playing XI and he replaced Klaasen.
The decision to bowl first favoured Temba Bavuma-led side a lot as the bowlers gave only 39 runs in the powerplay and Anrich Nortje was able to pick the wicket of Kusal Perera. Although Charith Asalanka and Pathum Nissanka??added good 40 runs but other Sri Lanka batters failed to perform good and Dasun Shanaka and co. lost wickets at regular intervals and they were bundled at the score of 142.
Chasing the target things were going pretty smooth for Quinton de Kock and Reeza Hendricks, however, Dushmantha Chameera bowled a game-changing 4th over dismissing both the openers. Rassie van der Dussen scored good 16 runs but got run out in the 8th over. After that, the number 3 ranked T20I batsman Aiden Markram built a good 57 runs partnership with his skipper Temba Bavuma but was dismissed by Wanindu Hasaranga in the last bowl of the 15th over.
Meanwhile, in the 18th over Wanindu Hasaranga completed his hat-trick by dismissing captain Temba Bavuma in the first ball and Dwaine Pretorius in the next ball. However, this was not enough to stop South Africa from winning the match and they won the game by 4 wickets with the help of David Miller’s amazing batting.
T20 World Cup 2021: Australia vs England

In the 26th match of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 Eoin Morgan-led England National Cricket Team faced off Aaron Finch-led Australia National Cricket Team at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Notably, England thrashed Australia by winning the match by 8 wickets.
Both the teams were entering the match with a lot of confidence having defeated Asian teams. As England thrashed Bangladesh by 8 wickets and Australia earned a 7 wicket victory over Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, Eoin Morgan won the toss and invited the Aussies to bat. England fielded the same playing XI but Aaron Finch and co. made one change by dropping Mitchell Marsh and adding spinner Ashton Agar.
Just like several other games, Morgan started with a spinner and Adil Rashid gave 6 runs in the first over. Chris Woakes bowled the second over and he was to pick the wicket of David Warner in the second delivery. Also in the third over Chris Jordan was able to dismiss Steven Smith. The Aussie batsman played a very poor short trying to drag the ball way outside by off stump and was caught on mid-on by Chris Woakes. Chris Woakes then came to bowl and dismissed man in-form Glenn Maxwell in the 4th over. Also star all-rounder Marcus Stoinis was dismissed by Adil Rashid on duck in the 7th over.
After that Matthew Wade joined forces with skipper Aaron Finch and they had a 30 runs partnership off 33 balls and Wade was sent back to the dugout by Liam Livingstone. Ashton Agar provided much-needed support to the finch and they had a good 47 runs partnership and in the end, after a lot of struggle Australian team were bundled at the score of 125.
Chasing the target England openers Jason Roy and Jos Buttler were off to a flying start, both the openers went berserk against the Australian bowling unit and added 66 runs in the powerplay.
In the end, England won the match in 11.4th over by 8 wickets and Jos Buttler top-scored for the side with 71 runs off 32 deliveries.
