England off-spinner Moeen Ali bowled South African opener, Reeza Hendricks, early on during their crucial Super 12 match in the ongoing T20 World Cup at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Opting to bowl first, England was provided the perfect start by Moeen. After bowling a decent first over, he came back in his second over and knocked over Hendricks with a wonderful off-spinning delivery. Hendrick played all around it and was castled for 2 off just 8 deliveries.

There is a lot at stake for South Africa in the game. They have added pressure after the Australian team defeated West Indies in the day game to get to eight points in the table. Temba Bavuma’s men need to win against England and they need to win big.
Only then will their net run rate be better than the Aussies. As for England, they are realistically through but there is still a mathematical possibility where they might be eliminated. If they lose by over 124 runs, their net run rate will be worse than that of Australia and South Africa.
This is also the last round of games in Group 1 and the two semifinalists from this group will be determined tonight.
